Chaudhary Devilal Outstanding All India Co-ordinated Research Project (AICRP) Award - 2013 has been received by the AICRP ON AGROMETEOROLOGY (AICRPAM) at CRIDA, Hyderabad has made significant progress in terms of climate characterization of majority of the states, bringing out several agro-climatic atlases, taking up frontier research on climatic variability, preparation of real-time contingency plans, issuing of Agromet advisories to farmers, networking of 100 automatic weather stations in KVKs and providing data support to weather based insurance products in several crops. Project Co-ordinating Unit at CRIDA, Hyderabad was selected as the best centre of the AICRP on Agrometeorology.

Santanu Kumar Bal, Principal Scientist (Agromet.) (AICRPAM PC Unit) received the "Fellow of Association of Agrometeorologists (FAAM) in the International Symposium (INAGMET-2019) held at JNU, New Delhi during 11-13 Feb. 2019

P. Vijaya Kumar, Project Coordinator (Agromet.) was honoured during the Foundation Day of IMD on 15 Jan. 2019 held at New Delhi for developing Dynamic Crop Weather Calendar.

H. Venkatesh, Agrometeorologist (Vijayapura centre) received the "Life Time Achievement Award" by AICRPAM in Biennial Workshop of AICRPAM held at RARC, UAS Vijayapura during 15-17 Nov., 2018.

K.K. Dakhore, Agrometeorologist Parbhani centre received the "Dr S. Venkataraman Young Scientist Award" by Association of Agrometeorologists (AAM) in the International Symposium (INAGMET-2019) held at JNU, New Delhi during 11-13 Feb. 2019

Jorhat centre received the "Best AICRPAM centre" award in the Biennial Workshop held at RARC, UAS Vijayapura during 15-17 Nov. 2018. The award was presented to Bondita Goswami, Agrometeorologist.

Bangalore centre received the "Second to Best AICRPAM centre" in the Biennial Workshop held at RARC, UAS Vijayapura during 15-17 Nov. 2018. The award was presented to H.S. Shivaramu and Manjunath Hiremath.

S.N. Malleswari, Agrometeorologist (Anantapur centre) received the Padmashri Dr B.V. Subba Rao Rythunestham award on 15th Anniversary of Rythunestham

H.S. Shivaramu received the certificate of merit award in the field of Agrometeorological applications for research and presentation at Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, Srilanka during 1-2 Nov. 2018.
