Crop Planning and Contingency Plans for Agro-Climatic Zones of India

Indian Agriculture is primarily rain-dependent. While the onset, progress and withdrawal of the monsoon decides the crop planning, the temporal and spatial variability in the monsoon activity influences the crop productivity and requires contingent planning on regular basis.
